Thom and Carolyn have served as Berean missionaries since 1972. They worked as Biblical Ministries Worldwide missionaries in evangelism, disciple making, and church-planting in Austria (1972-82), England (1983-85), and Scotland (1986-1994). Since 1995 they have served with New Tribes Mission Now ETHNOS360 and have labored in Papua New Guinea, Scotland, and England, challenging, equipping and mobilizing Europeans for tribal missions. From 2006 – 2011 Thom and Carolyn served as Ethnos360 representatives/ mobilizers in New England while also taking care of Carolyn’s parents in RI, yet making frequent ministry trips to Europe and other countries.
In 2011 Thom & Carolyn returned to full-time ministry in the UK, serving with New Tribes Mission UK – Global Partners of Ethnos360. They have since continued as representatives/ mobilizers in Scotland, as well as in the UK and Germany, speaking and teaching training seminars in churches, and also teaching evangelism and discipleship part-time at the NTM-UK European Bible & Missionary Training Center in England.
In late August 2020 Thom & Carolyn relocated the the USA to set up their home and base of ministry in NH, to be closer to family, and to give themselves in 2021 to reporting and updating all their faithful prayer & support partners and churches.
They have committed to return for 3 – 4 months a year as long as they are able, to teach in the NTM-UK European training facility – North Cotes College in Lincolnshire, England to continue to assist in the challenging, equipping and mobilizing of new missionaries to take the Gospel to the least reached peoples of the world. Here in the States they will continue, Lord willing, in their one-to-one disciple ministries, challenging churches for missions to the unreached, and conducting training seminars and local “Foundations – The Basics of Discipleship” courses as the Lord opens doors of opportunity.
